At the end of season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise, Gates and Gottschalk decided to accept the Fantasy Suite date. Initially, Gates was a little reserved about trusting Gottschalk because she has had her heart broken several times before. However, Gates decided to trust her instincts and Gottschalk and agreed to it. And after their Fantasy Suite date, it looked like their relationship became stronger than ever.
In fact, after their date, Gottschalk told the cameras that he can see Gates and him as the next Carly and Evan. He also added that there is a possibility of them getting engaged if their relationship works out. According to sources, Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are still romantically involved with each other, despite living in different states.

When talking about their relationship, Gates said, “Yeah, Taylor and Derek hit it off right away. We had the shutdown, so that’s an extra two weeks that we didn’t have. Adam came in later in the game, so they were a good three or four weeks ahead of us. Now, if we were three to four weeks with each other every single day and hammered out those conversations that need to be had before you get engaged, maybe we would have done it. Right now, we have to meet the parents. That’s where we’re at.”
It was a surprising moment for Gottschalk when Gates’ parents came for the Bachelor in Paradise finale. When talking about meeting her parents, Gottschalk said, “It was exciting and exhilarating more than anything because I love parents and parents love me, so I don’t have a problem with it. It just caught me off guard because logistically I don’t know how they made everything with her parents happen so fast so soon. It’s actually really nice because there’s never been a moment where I’ve dated somebody and she and I met each other’s parents in the same week. I think that’s special for both of us. I’m excited to finally put a face with the name, too.”
